Political View: While Arthur is a pureblood he does not believe in the whole purebloods are superior mindset. In fact, given his work with the ministry has given him an appreciation for muggles and muggle born alike.

Arthur is straight and has been married to Molly for many years, their brood of children is good evidence of this.

Psychology
Introvert/Extrovert Extrovert, he’s a very inquisitive individual and loves to see new things. This helps in his getting out and seeing, doing things.
Boggart is? Explain. PLEASE NOTE: A Boggart assumes the shape of a *creature* or physical object. This is not the same as a Dementor Effect - it cannot be something vague like 'loneliness' or 'sadness' or 'darkness'. It must have shape and form.

His family’s dead bodies. Arthur is a family man and cares deeply for his family. To lose any of his children or especially Molly would absolutely destroy him. The loss of his family is the greatest fear he has.

Patronus--can they produce one? What is it and why does it have that form? Again, please note, as per canon - a Patronus is a *creature* of some kind. We have been very flexibe as to allow fictional creatures to be Patronuses, but it cannot be an inanimate object. A Beater's Bat cannot be a Patronus.

Arthur’s patronus is a silver weasel. Weasels are greatly underestimated for their intelligence and their power. Always a creature to help others out I feel that the weasel is the perfect patronus for Arthur.

Personality
Include strengths, weaknesses, quirks, general outlook on life.

Arthur is a loving husband and a doting father. He cares deeply for his family and friends of the family. He’s an out going man with an unnatural love for his work. While not collecting batteries and plugs, he’s busy trying to figure what keeps muggle airplanes in the sky. Though his obsession with muggles gets him in trouble with Molly sometimes, he’s a good hearted man.

Family dynamics--do they get along? Opposite sides of the war? Accept their child's magical talent? Pressure for 'pure blood' marriage?

Before the passing of his parents they got along fine. They never were on opposite sides of the war, considering his mother was blasted off of the Black family tapestry for marrying a Weasley. Coming from a pureblood family there was never any issues with his magical ability. The pressure was always there for a pureblood marriage, but he succeeded fine with Molly.


Lifestyle
Occupation: Head of the Office for the Detection and Confiscation of Counterfeit Defensive Spells and Protective Objects.

Residence: The Burrow which is in Ottery St. Catchpole, Devon

Financial Status: While not financially well off they are doing much better now at the children have left the burrow.

History from student days at Hogwarts to the present time: include any affiliations since Hogwarts, jobs, family life, significant events in the character's recent history, how was this character affected by the war, how does your character feel about the present political climate?

Arthur was the first born to Septimus and Cedrella Weasley. Arthur started out with a peaceful quiet life until he was joined by little brothers Billius and Ignatius. Arthur went on to give Billius’s name to his son Ron, while Percy got Ignatius’s name. He led a happy childhood until the age of 11 when he was accepted into Hogwarts.

Sorted into the Gryffindor house with his future wife, Molly, he started off to a fine career at Hogwarts. He and Molly began to get close towards the beginning of their fifth year. Many nights they would sneak out to spend time together, or just get a quick snog in. In fact, the two were once caught by Apolloyon Pringle who punished Arthur to the point of having permanent scars from it. Their relationship continued until after graduation when they eloped.

Married life was wonderful with Molly, it didn’t take them long before they welcomed their first child, Bill. Nearly two years later they welcome their next son Charlie into their lives. It wasn’t long before they tried for another child, however this pregnancy ended in tragedy when Molly miscarried only weeks before Charlie turned one. The loss of this child devastated Arthur, but after they mourned they tried again for another child. This too only last a few months before Molly miscarried. Arthur and Molly went into mourning yet again, and swore not to try again until after Charlie turned two. When they tried again the result was Percy, though born six weeks premature he was none the less a welcome addition to the family. Though he nearly lost Molly and Percy during the birth, they both healed and life went on. Two years after their miracle baby, Arthur and Molly welcome twin’s Fred and George to the family. Not even two years after the twins came into their lives they welcome Ron to the home, a year later Ginny blessed their lives. Arthur was particularly proud of this since Molly gave birth to the first girl to be born to his family in seven generations.

Things were tense when the war began, Arthur still was sore from his fight with Percy and when things got too bad for him to work under Fidelius he worried for his son even more. He and Molly turned to Molly’s aunt Muriel during the war, waiting until it was over and safe to return to the burrow. Arthur and Molly returned home and began to get things back to the way they were when the list of the wars missing people was released. Arthur was devastated to learn his son’s name was on the list, blaming himself for what happened to his son because of the fight the two had.

Arthur was over joyed to find out that not only was Percy alive, he was doing well. In fact, all of his children were doing well. Though Molly might not agree with him in that aspect, he was happy just to know they were alive and happy. With Harry’s defeat of Lord Voldemort gave him and his family a whole new look on life. Arthur and Molly didn’t have to worry about money anymore now that all the children were out on their own, and their children wouldn’t have to worry about being hassled for being a Weasley.

How does he/she feel about the more infamous events and people in the world around him/her? Harry Potter and his victory over Voldemort? Dumbledore and his murder by Severus Snape? Lucius Malfoy's pardon and book publication? Snape's pardon and appointment back to his old job at Hogwarts? The Registry? Werewolf Remus Lupin's job at Hogwarts? Bellatrix' capture, insanity defense, followed by her "cure" and release from St. Mungo's? etc.

Harry Potter and his victory over Voldemort: Arthur was thrilled by Harry’s victory over Voldemort. Arthur has been hoping that with the changes in the political climate would stop people from making fun of his family. Overall the victory was very good for him.

Dumbledore and his murder by Severus Snape: Arthur was greatly saddened by the death of Dumbledore and was shocked by the fact Severus had committed it. Once the details of why it had been committed he was less angry but still hurt.

Lucius Malfoy’s pardon and book publication: When news of the pardon reached Arthur he was furious. After the years of teasing, the torture his family went through because of Lucius, how anyone could have been convinced he was the weak was beyond any reasoning. The book publication just added insult to injury.

Snape’s pardon and appointment back to Hogwarts: Arthur was glad that Snape was pardoned for the murder. It was a necessary loss but Arthur didn’t want Snape to not have his livelihood because of that.

The Registry: Arthur is glad that they are keeping a very close eye on the Death Eaters, though he doesn’t believe they should have their wands. He’s disappointed in the tracking of the werewolves, given the fact one his sons is a werewolf.

Remus Lupin’s job at Hogwarts: Arthur had been friends with Remus for a long time, he remembered when Remus had his job during Harry’s third year. He’s glad that Remus has a job at Hogwarts again.

Bellatrix: This was even more of an insult then having Lucius get pardoned. Bellatrix being rehabilitated was unbelievable. She must have fooled them pretty good, and the fact she didn’t lose a thing was even worse. A few months but kept the money and the house, this part bothered Arthur the most.

What plots would you like to pursue with this character? What short and long-term goals does the character have for his/her future?

Plots: Running for Minister of Magic. Dealing with the Weasley clan with Mollywobbles. Butting heads with Lucius.

Short term: Reconnecting with Molly, visiting Charlie at the hospital.

Long term: Become Minister of Magic of course! Going through the run for the minister, and trying to protect his family as he did some. Depending on how things go with Charlie/Rab also help his son there. Also open to anything that comes up.

Once you start playing the game and get a feel for your fellow players and characters, assuming the interaction is favorable, how long could you anticipate staying with this character and this game? What is your usual pattern of longevity in role-playing games?

I anticipate me staying for a very long time, all the other RPs I’ve done I’ve stuck around to the very end.

What is your usual pattern of availabilty and play-time for a character and game which you enjoy?

I’m available most of the day and most of the night. I spend a lot of my time working on the computer so I’m usually on.
